September Cleanup & Volunteer Appreciation Event (8:30am-12:00pm)
Join us for the final cleanup of the season, hosted by Barry’s Fine Wine & Spirits. The cleanup will run from 8:30-10:30 followed immediately by our volunteer appreciation event. Free T-shirts, water bottles, coffee & donuts, Domino’s Pizza and a thank you cake. Registered volunteers receive a free raffle ticket for prizes donated by local businesses. Parking lot at the corner of Elm and Summer Streets.

Check out the Sea Kayak Adventure – it may be one of the last outdoor events of the summer!

Visit A Museum On The Cape Cod Museum Trail (All Day)
One of the great challenges of summer — especially for parents — is figuring out what to do to keep the family happy and entertained. Visiting a museum is a great way to fill up those weekend hours. There are dozens of museums in the Cape Cod area, offering experiences to interest virtually anyone. Sea Kayaking Adventure Series (9:00am-12:00pm)
Join the WLCT and Osprey Sea Kayak Adventures (OSKA) for a tour of the Westport Rivers this summer! Explore conserved lands from the water and learn about the rich history of land protection in Westport. Each expedition will run 3 to 4 hours and cost $60.00 per participant with a limit of 10 participants per trip. Participants will meet at OSKA located at the Head of Westport on the morning of their expedition. From there, paddlers will be transported to the put-in location and outfitted with equipment. Kayaking equipment, transportation, certified guides, and a light snack will be provided for all participants. William Street Neighborhood Festival 2017 (12:00pm-5:00pm)
A festival to celebrate the Culture, History, Arts, Food and Music of the New Bedford area.

2017 St. George Greek Food Festival (11:00am-10:00pm)
It’s that time of year! The three day long Greek festival is coming. Delicious Greek meals, handmade Greek pastries, Greek dance performances, Greek wine & beer, Greek music, church tours, FREE parking and admission, and more. Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, 186 Cross Road, Dartmouth, MA.

Toddler Drive-In Movie: Pixar Short Films 1+2 (1:00pm-3:00pm)
Decorate Box Cars and watch a movie! Refreshments will be served! Open to ages 2 to 4 (siblings are welcome). Registration required, as cars are limited! Pixar’s unprecedented string of hit animated features was built on the short films in these collections. The shorts are: The Adventures of Andre and Wally B., Luxo, Jr., Red’s Dream, Tin Toy, Knick Knack, Geri’s Game, For The Birds, Mike’s New Car, Boundin’, Jack-Jack Attack, Mater and The Ghost Light, One Man Band, Lifted, Mater’s Tall Tales: Air Mater, BURN-E, Dug’s Special Mission, George & A.J., Toy Story Toons: Hawaiian Vacation, Partly Cloudy, Toy Story Toons: Small Fry, Mater’s Tall Tales: Time Travel Mater, Your Friend the Rat along with Oscar nominated shorts Presto (2008), Day & Night (2010) and La Luna (2011). Shakespeare in the Park – Romeo and Juliet (3:00pm-7:00pm)
Join us on September 16th at 3PM for a live production of Romeo and Juliet in Buttonwood Park. Bring your family and a lawn chair and settle in for an amazing performance from local actors portraying a modern, distopian, interpretation of Romeo and Juliet. This event is brought to you by the New Bedford Free Public Library and the New Bedford Parks and Recreation in collaboration with The Glass Horse Project, This event is free and open to the public. *Rain Date: September 17th at 3PM. Fall Fest Block Party with music by The Freeze Pops (3:00pm-7:00pm)
The Fall Fest Block Party is a 21+ event featuring music, entertainment, buffet dinner, and drinks. In 2017 the event will feature music by The Freeze Pops. This is a fundraising event for the Downtown Taunton Foundation designed to be fun, casual, and inviting to citizens from all walks of life. Ticket prices and additional details are pending and will be published as the event draws nearer. Downtown Taunton Foundation, Taunton, MA.

Mieka Pauley & Rebecca Correia @ Bennett Farm (7:00pm)
Mieka Pauley makes her triumphant return to Bennett Farm Sat, Sept 16th. Rebecca Correia also performs. Bennett Farm, 339 North Ave., Rochester, MA.

Rail Rider Records is proud to announce Reverend Red and Duane Mark – together again in all of their Not-So-Immortal glory! It’s been nearly 2 years since these heavy hitters have come together, so get out and experience the Legends themselves as they pass through your town, on the road to Muddy Roots Music Festival and Widows Harvest!
