United States Coast Guard Northeast suspends search for man from New Bedford vessel

The U.S. Coast Guard Northeast and Air Station Cape Cod started a search on Monday for a man that went overboard 60NM southeast of Nantucket. The man, reportedly not wearing a life jacket, went aboard the F/V Blue Wave out of New Bedford.

After searching for 1,444 square nautical miles and conducting 16 search patterns, the U.S. Coast Guard announced today that they have suspended the search.
