New Bedford police were dispatched to St. James Place at 167 Acushnet Avenue at around 6:30pm on Sunday in regards to “kids throwing snowballs at an elderly Male”.
Police officers spoke with the 71 year old male victim, who claimed that 3 black males and 1 white male, all possibly teens entered through the rear entrance and struck him with a snow ball. The teens were scared off by another tenant who exited his apartment.
