Pinwheels can be used as toys and also as simple machines. Find out more about this amazing little invention and make a pinwheel of your own on Thursday, March 14, on AHA! (Art, History, Architecture) night at New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park. This month’s theme is March in Motion. Join Abby, one of the national park’s 1850s ladies, from 6:00-8:00 PM, to create a pinwheel of your own. New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park’s visitor center is located at 33 William Street in downtown New Bedford. As always, admission is free.
