“New Bedford Police Detectives have arrested a man for possessing a ghost gun.

On Monday, April 11, detectives executed a search warrant for 104 Locust Street #2 with the target being Joshua DeLeon, 20. While inside the apartment, detectives seized one black Polymer 80 semi-automatic 9mm high-capacity pistol loaded with 15 rounds of ammo, and $2,735.

Because Polymer firearms do not possess serial numbers, they are considered to be “ghost guns.”

DeLeon was arrested and charged with possession of ammunition without an FID card, storing a large capacity firearm improperly, possession of a large-capacity firearm, and unlawful possession of a high capacity feeding device.” -New Bedford Police Department .
