“Hi! I was thinking you could share this so something can be done about it somehow.
I’m a student at Keith Middle School and they have been cutting down bathroom usage lately because there are kids vaping in the bathrooms. We are told multiple times by multiple different teachers we are supposed to go 3 times a day: B period, lunchtime, and E period.
Most teachers seem to think that ‘using the bathroom is a privilege.’ I’ve been told MULTIPLE times that we have to earn going to the bathroom. I myself argued with the teachers on that comment. It’s an everyday argument with me and the teachers. Not to mention there are some teachers who absolutely don’t let the kids use the bathroom at all.
There are teachers at Keith Middle School who actually make you stay after school for using the bathroom. If I’m not mistaken it’s a law for us students to use the bathroom, not a privilege. Now I’m not sure if the whole school goes through that issue or if it is just the 8th grade but I personally feel like that needs to be changed.
I’m pretty sure a lot of other people would agree with me that there is a student that once went to the bathroom on himself because he was told he couldn’t use the bathroom and he couldn’t hold it anymore.” -Vachon Williams.”
