“On March 17, several of our Troopers, including members of our Recruitment Unit, Community Liaison Officers, and Sgt. William Qualls, commander of our Bomb Squad and his K9 partner Neutron, visited Girls Inc. of Taunton to talk to the organization’s members about their jobs and interests and to participate in art activity.

The Troopers were joined by Officers from the Taunton and Weymouth Police Departments. It being St. Patrick’s Day and all, there was an even more festive mood to this collaborative event, with no shortage of sharp green accessories on display!

Troopers and Officers spoke to the girls about leadership roles and careers they can pursue over the course of their lives. And of course, there was Neutron, who made a lot of new friends and no doubt wants to go back already!”
