Lakeville Fire Department kept busy with rash of vehicle accidents

“Motor vehicle accidents keep firefighters busy! For the 3rd night in a row, Lakeville Firefighters have responded to vehicle accidents with injuries.

Tuesday @ 6:15 pm – car versus motorcycle at the High School. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Good Sam.
Wednesday @ 5:40 pm – 4 cars collide in front of 133 Bedford Street. One patient transported to Morton. Ambulance 1, Ambulance 2, Engine 1, Car 1, and Car2 handled the call.

Thursday @ 5:28 pm – 3 cars collide on County St. Ambulance 2, Freetown Rescue 3, Engine 1, Engine 3, Car 1, and Car 2 responded to the accident. A Middleborough Engine came upon the accident returning from maintenance.

Lakeville Ambulance 1 was in Middleborough providing mutual aid at the time of the crash.

Lakeville Ambulance 2 transported an adult female to Good Samaritan Hospital. The Freetown Ambulance transported an adult female to St Lukes Hospital.
