Fall River police arrest 13, seize 710 bags of heroin

As a result of a collaborative effort of multiple agencies including the Massachusetts State Police, Fall River Police Special Operations Division, Major Crimes Division, Vice and Intelligence Unit and Uniform Division. Several Search Warrants and Arrest Warrants were executed as part of a joint effort to apprehend individuals distributing drugs in our community.

During the execution of a search warrant at 229 Stafford Road Fall River police seized 530 bags of Heroin and 1.6 grams of crack cocaine. The following individuals were apprehended as part of this operation:

– Steven Martins, 31, 229 Stafford Road,possession to distribute Class A substance and possession of a Class B substance

– Tyler Gosson, 29, 229 Stafford Road on charges of possession to distribute Class A substance, possession Class B substance and possession to distribute Class E substance
Samantha Moss, 26, 229 Stafford Road, on charges of possession to distribute Class A substance, possession Class B substance; possession Class C substance, and 3 counts possession Class E substance.

During the execution of a Search Warrant at 175 Aberdeen St., police located the target, Kyle Dias, 26, of 175 Aberdeen St. He was charged with possession to distribute a Class A drug, subsequent offense; possession of a Class E drug; three counts of possession of a Class E drug and possession of a Class C drug.

180 bags of suspected heroin, an assortment of pills and $3,831 in cash was confiscated.

Other arrests made as part of this drug sweep operation:

-Krystal L. Medeiros, 32, of Somerset, on a charge of fugitive from justice for distributing Class A drug;
-Jonathan P. Lima, 34, of Fall River on possession with intent to distribute Class A drug;
-Ricardo P. Madeira, 36, of Fall River on charges of possession with intent to distribute Class A substance, two counts, possession with intent to distribute Class C substance;
Keishon Workman, 19, of Fall River, on charges of possession with intent to distribute Class A substance; assault and battery. In total Workman had 13 outstanding warrants.
-Anissa Farrington, 35, of Fall River on a charge of assault and battery;
-Felica Sousa Wood, 30, of Fall River on charges of conspiracy, larceny over $250 and shoplifting;
-Steven Ponte, 37, of of Fall River on a court order violation.

The following outstanding drug suspects surrendered to court upon hearing that they were wanted and a search was ongoing for them:
-Michael Sarlo, 41, of Fall River. on a charge of possession with intent to distribute Class A substance;
– Jonathan W. White, 28, of Fall River on a charge of possession with intent to distribute Class A Substance.
