City of New Bedford Summer Sound Series: Steppin Out featuring New Image (R&B, Soul, Funk, Dance) (6:00pm-8:00pm)
The Summer Sound Series will feature live musical entertainment on Pier 3 in Downtown New Bedford’s Seaport Cultural District. Residents and visitors will dance to live music, enjoy beverages available for purchase, and relax along New Bedford’s beautiful working waterfront. Free parking and shuttle service to City Pier 3 is available at Whale’s Tooth Parking Lot. Additional parking is available at Elm Street Garage within walking distance of City Pier 3. The public is invited to bring their chairs and enjoy front row seating to performances.

“Cover Up” at The Bar (9:00pm-1:00am)
CoverUp have been performing their high energy shows throughout the Boston area for the past ten years. The band features the powerful lead vocals of Andy Coyle, the brilliant guitar playing and lead vocals of Chris Bianchi, and the thunderous rhythm section of Tino Sanchez on bass and Joe Taranto on drums. CoverUp performs all the songs you love, from the classic rock of the 70’s, to the hair metal of the 80, and current hits, all played with the power and energy of an arena band.
