Saturday, August 11th

Plymouth Airshow (10:00am-2:00pm)
The Plymouth Air Show will be a spectacular event for all ages! In the air you’ll watch airshow displays with star performers such as aerobatic and Red Bull Air Race pilot, Mike Goulian, Ultimate 10-200 Biplane aerobatic pilot, Dan Marcotte and Aerobatic Bonanza pilot, David Martin. You’ll also watch a helicopter demo by John Ryan and RC aircraft demonstrations by Mitch Buckley. Be ready for some noise with flybys from New England’s own military. On the ground there will be kids activities, airplane and helicopter ground displays, exhibits, and airplane & helicopter rides. Check the air show website for updates: plymouthairshow.com. New Bedford Farmers Market- Clasky Common Park (10:00am-2:00pm)

Edaville Family Theme Park Activities: Curious George! (10:00am-5:00pm)
Come RIDE, ROAR, and EXPLORE at the exciting world of Edaville! With 3 PARKS IN 1, you can ride through Cran-Central, roar throughout Dino Land, and explore with Thomas & Friends through the magical Island of Sodor! Admission includes all rides & attractions. 12th Annual Cigarette Poker Run (11:00am-11:00pm)
12th annual high-performance Poker Run, located along the eastern shore of Mount Hope in Fall River, MA. Last year we had an excellent turnout of 52 boats that took part in the festivities. For the first time, the run traveled thru the ocean on route to its 3rd stop, Newport, RI. In addition, we have raised the winning purse to $3,000. $15,000 was donated last year! Borden Light Marina, 1 Ferry St., Fall River.

Onset Cape Verdean Festival (11:00am-6:00pm)
Onset Cape Verdean Festival is a celebration of Cape Verdean Music and food. There is No charge for the event. Parking is limited in Onset Village but there are 3 lots along Onset Ave. There is a $10 fee but there is a FREE shuttle that takes you to the venue. The average attendance is around 15,000 with families from all over the United States attending….it is like a large family reunion., Blankets and chairs are encouraged. Good Shepherd Parish Feast (Fall River) (5:00pm-10:00pm)
Don’t miss the Good Shepherd Feast! Our FAMOUS KITCHEN with your Portuguese and American favorites! Hot MALASSADAS daily! Fantastic music with Fuzzy & The Fuzztones on Friday. Classic Rock with Gunpowder & Lead on Saturday. All your favorites with DJ Joe and Summer School on Sunday. Fabulous yard sale! Jewelry Galore! Kids Zone Games! Illumination on the Docks (Fairhaven)

This year will be our biggest year yet with a full marina!! Come check out our annual Illumination of the boats. All the boats will be decorated in light and some in a crazy theme!
