The New Bedford Whalers Youth Football & Cheer teams will be hosting a Pro Wrestling Event on October 11th from 4:00pm-6:00pm at 221 Brock Avenue, Lot 13.
This event is to raise money to buy new helmets, equipment and uniforms for the kids. The new helmets will provide more protection than the current ones being used. They currently have one jersey for away and home games but don’t have enough pants to provide to all our kids therefore requiring parents to chip in that are struggling already.
This will also help to sponsor some of the kids whose parents can’t afford to have their children play. The organization does NOT turn kids away – they still allow them to play!
Tickets are $10 each at the gate. Advanced tickets can be purchased at the West Side Grill (1000 Rockdale Avenue) or No Problemo.
