Learn to Play the Ukulele!

The Zeiterion Theatre, The Symphony Shop and the Wellington Ukulele Orchestra are teaming up to donate ukuleles and lessons to 30 lucky people! Winners will receive their ukuleles on stage at the Jake Shimabukuro concert, and then participate in group lessons over the fall, building to a live group performance with the Wellington Ukulele Orchestra at The Z on January 11!

To enter, submit by October 3rd a brief paragraph that explains why you’d like to play the ukulele along with your name, address and phone number to info@zeiterion.org with “Ukulele” in the subject line. Winners selected by lottery. Generously sponsored by: Symphony Music Shop

  1. I would like to resume taking ukulele lessons again. I started last summer but my teacher moved back to Canada and has not been able to return for monthly lessons, as he had originally intended. I have my own ukulele and continue to practice but really want to have lessons to accelerate my learning.

  2. Hello. I have been trying to find something that would be a great thing to do with my time as I cannot work anymore. I am a disabled man of 55 and am looking for a fun thing to do. I shake a lot. I think that playing an instrument would be great. Thank you for your time.
