Your Theatre, Inc. is holding open auditions May 26, 2016 at 7 p.m., for all roles in the upcoming 2016-2017 Season productions. This is your chance to enter the acting process! Directors are interested in hearing actors who have never, or haven’t recently performed, at YTI.
Auditions are held in the playhouse located in St. Martin’s Church/Hall complex, 136 Rivet Street at Country Street, in New Bedford. The auditions are open to all actors over the age of 16, regardless of prior experience with YTI.
Auditions will consist of a series of cold readings, alone and with an acting partner, and will be conducted by members of YTI’s Directorial Staff.
Your Theatre celebrates diversity and seeks people of all backgrounds regardless of age, race, creed, national origin, or sexual orientation. All are welcome! Dare yourself! Join in the challenges and excitement of community theatre as Your Theatre, Inc enters it’s 70th season!
The upcoming Season includes California Suite, by Neil Simon, Born Yesterday, by Garson Kanin, Never The Sinner, by John Logan, The House of Blue Leaves, by John Guare, and What the Butler Saw, by Joe Orton. There will also be several, yet to be announced, special attractions planned for presentation at the theatre and various venues around greater New Bedford.
