Early this morning at approximately 2:45am a 24 year old south end woman had her purse snatched near the intersection of Crapo St. and Rivet St. The woman parked her car and was walking to her home when she was struck in the head from behind. She refused medical treatment.

One of three male suspects then took her purse and emptied it on the sidewalk before taking off with an undisclosed amount of cash. They were last seen running north on Crapo St.

She described them as approximately 5-8 inches in height, with two of them wearing dark jeans and hooded sweatshirts. The third male was wearing a white shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Evan Bielski at 508-991-6300 ext. 79503 or leave an anonymous tip at 508-961-4584.
