Police are investigating the robbery of Dollar General at 893 Church St. Wednesday night by two men with firearms.
A witness told police the two men entered the store wearing masks and demanded money. Both men were armed.
The men took cash and fled the store on foot, heading north toward 915 Church St. One of the suspects was described as a white male, about 5’7’’ to 5’9,’’ with a slim build, wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark pants and grey shoes.
The second suspect was described as a white male, 5’8’’ to 5’10,’’ with a medium build, wearing a white mask, gray/black hooded zippered sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, dark shoes and white gloves.
Police are investigating whether this robbery is connected to similar incidents in the area.
No one was injured in the incident, which was reported at 9:48 p.m.
