New Bedford “Team Up to Clean Up” final cleanup of the season and volunteer appreciation event, Sept. 15

Join us for our final cleanup of the season. Cleaning up litter from our communities and neighborhoods may seem like small actions but it’s what bonds us to want a better world for the next generation, for our planet and for ourselves. Come alone, bring some friends, or meet up with your OCS crew. Hosted by: Southcoast Health.

On the Day of the cleanup: Sign up/check in at OCS Tent. Check-in starts at 8:30 am.

•FREE volunteer T-Shirt
•FREE breakfast provided by our Host.
•FREE re-usable water bottle before you check out your cleanup tools.
•FREE Raffle ticket for all registered volunteers
•Raffle tickets available for purchase at cleanup
•Review the safety notes.
•Community Service hours provided

Walk or carpool to your cleanup location. Tie bags in a knot and put them at the nearest corner. Bags down at 10:15 am, so you can get back in time for Domino’s pizza and the raffle at 10:30. If you volunteered at a previous cleanup, please remember to wear your green volunteer tee shirt and bring back your reusable water bottle!

Meet at St. Luke’s Hospital, the parking lot at the corner of Page and Hawthorn Streets, New Bedford. The cleanup event will be followed immediately by our Volunteer Appreciation Event.
