Lynn Nelson of Taunton has claimed the fifth $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Hit $1,000!” instant game.
Nelson, who will be splitting her winnings with five other co-workers, chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (less tax withholdings). The winning ticket was purchased at the Massachusetts State Lottery Regional Office in New Bedford, 200 Theodore H. Rice Blvd., New Bedford.
