The answer to last week’s trivia question is at the bottom of the page. Here is this week’s trivia question: What is the oldest theater in New Bedford?

I am no weatherman, and recently my weather predictions seem to be off, but that is New England, unpredictable.  The fall has been perfect.  I’m not looking forward to bundling up and so I’ve been savoring the warm days by keeping my windows open, breathing in the fresh air and thinking warm thoughts.  Weather.com is showing mostly sunny for this weekend, and if that stays true another ideal weekend is in store.  The nights are expected to be comfortable, in the 50’s, making it enjoyable to go out for a night on the town.  The highs will range from 60’s to maybe even 80 degrees on Sunday!

This weekend, definitely check out one or some of the many opportunities in the area to listen to local music, celebrate nightlife, enjoy the arts, benefit a good cause, avoid the heat, or support the zoos in our area.  As always, most events discussed here are from LocalOracle.  To have your events promoted for FREE, submit them HERE.   If you need directions, simply click on the event name for contact info and directions.

The answer: Oktoberfest! This is the oldest and largest fair held in Germany every year, it attracts millions of people to Munich.
