“On May 18th Officer Thomas Lambert was on a construction detail when he heard a call on the radio for a choking baby.

He ran to the location and was the first one on the scene. The baby was blue and not breathing when he got there. He immediately turned the baby over and started back thrusts until the baby spit up what appeared to be clumps of formula. He continued rubbing his back and the baby began breathing.

Shortly after Somerville Fire arrived and put a breathing mask on the baby. The child was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated.” -Somerville Police Department.
