Sagamore woman charged with OUI drugs and liquor in New Bedford

A 26-year-old Sagamore woman was charged with OUI drugs and OUI liquor following a traffic spot at 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday on Ashley Boulevard and Coffin Avenue.

Paris Desousa, 26, of Sagamore, was stopped by police after being observed weaving into the southbound lane while driving north on Ashley Boulevard. She then turned east onto a one-way westbound section of Coffin Avenue.

She was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs and was placed under arrest.
