New Bedford Guide Your Guide to New Bedford and South Coast, MA
At approximately 9:40pm Sunday night the New Bedford Police and Fire Departments received reports of a car accident on Rt. 18 and Coggeshall Street.
Firs-responders arrived to find a battered SUV with windows smashed out with two adults and an infant who self-extricated. The infant was strapped into their car seat. Both adults and the infant did not sustain life-threatening injuries and one of the adults received medical attention at the scene.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by both the New Bedford Police and the Massachusetts State Police.
