“Donald Trump has now advocated that all nominees for president be subjected to a competency examination. Bragging about his supposed competency exam test of several years ago, during his presidency, which he described as having “aced” he believes Biden will fail and disqualify him from a second term.
Naturally, Trump will forego such a test relying on his previous exam results, which he will either refuse to make public, expecting the electorate to trust him, or will flaunt as proof of his competency despite the bias of the examiner.
Clearly there is a competency question regarding both Trump and Biden that keeps surfacing after their public appearances. There is a great probability that neither would score in the high percentile as to present acuity.
But for the safety and security of the United States a much more important measure of fitness should be a lie detector test, and it is undeniable that Trump would never produce a positive score. Biden may also fail on several questions, but Trump will undoubtedly be proven the far greater fabricator and would declare himself the winner.”-Betty Ussach, Dartmouth.
