New Bedford fire fighters responded to a fire at a multi-family home near the on South Street in New Bedford this afternoon.
There was a large fire on the first floor that was extinguished by Engine 6, Ladder 3. Chief Gomes of New Bedford Fire Department reports that the fire was electrical. No injuries reported, but one family was displaced.
