City of New Bedford updates status of Capitol Waste Management pickups

“We wanted to provide you with another trash update: Capitol Waste Management worked hard over this past weekend to pick up the trash, yard waste, and recycling that E.L. Harvey had left behind before their contract ended.

Since Saturday, Capitol has picked up over 11,000 barrels and crates, really stepping up to the plate.

We would like to thank them, along with our DFFM and DPI employees who stepped up to assist them throughout the long holiday weekend.”-City of New Bedford.

  1. Absolutely, thank you Capitol. The employees with Capitol don’t have the equipment like Harvey had. Yet, they got the job done. Keep up the good work.

  2. Capital Waste of taxpay money!…. Whoever awarded a contract to this company needs to be fired…. HANDS DOWN worst decision possible. It’s like the city took a step backwards.

I can not believe how actually bad this company handles the trash services.
