“Members of the New Bedford Loyal Order of Moose stopped by to deliver dozens of Tommy Moose stuffies for Officers to share with children in crisis.
The stuffies are given to children facing stressful or traumatic situations — giving them a soothing object to refocus their attention while emergency aid takes place. Chief Joseph Cordeiro and LEAD Co-ordinator Natashia Patricio (far left) welcomed Jose Jorge, Sylvester Santos Sr., Nellie Raposa, David Jorge, and Sheri Garrison and thanked them for their generous donation.
