This morning at approximately 10:30am a 2nd floor tenant located a strange male inside her apartment in the 100 block of Davis St. after she arrived home. He apologized and left, but not before stealing some video games.

Shortly thereafter, it was learned that he had also been inside the third floor apartment of the same house and had stolen video games also. Neighbors and tenants followed the male over to Riverside Park and the police were called. The suspect was eventually apprehended and tased by responding officers. He was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital for observation and released shortly thereafter. At the time of his arrest he was in possession of a curved knife. After being booked at police headquarters, he was transported to district court for arraignment.
