“On Friday, March 10th, our member Trooper Perry of SP Danvers, responded to reports of a dog running in and out of traffic in the area of Route 1 and the Lynn Fells Parkway in Saugus.

When our member arrived on the scene, with help of a passerby, was able to heroically corral the puppy and get it safely into his cruiser. The dog did have a microchip and our members were able to get the owner’s contact information.

The association would like to highlight Trooper Perry’s hard work and commitment to service.”-State Police Association of Massachusetts.
