Massachusetts State Police, local agencies respond to multiple swatting calls

“Following multiple bomb and gun threats against schools across the Commonwealth, our members responded to assist our local law enforcement partners in several areas. Thus far, every call received has been found to be a hoax.

These incidents highlight the commitment of our members who run towards danger in protection of those who are unable to defend themselves.

Thankfully these incidents were unsubstantiated, but we would like to recognize our members who ran towards danger in service of the Commonwealth, not knowing if there was in fact a threat.”-State Police Association of Massachusetts.
