Yesterday at approximately 9:00 p.m., Troopers assigned to the Newbury Barracks responded to multiple reports of a single vehicle crash on Route 495 Northbound, north of Exit 54 in Amesbury.
Preliminary investigation by Trooper Michael Crowley indicates that Sabrina Milone, 21, of Garden City N.Y. was traveling on Route 495 Northbound in a 2015 Jeep Wrangler when, for reasons still under investigation, she traveled off the right side of the roadway and crashed. Milone was transported Anna Jaques Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Milone was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
This crash remains under investigation by Troopers assigned to the Newbury Barracks, the Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section, and Troopers assigned to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office. Amesbury Fire, EMS, and Police Departments also assisted on scene.
