Lakeville Fire Department responds to box truck crash

“The call came in at 1:42pm yesterday for a tractor-trailer off the road, in the area of Saga Susi (Rt. 44). Ambulance 3 and Engine 1 responded to the crash. Ambulance 2 and Engine 1, staffed by callback firefighters soon followed in response.

Crews arrived to find a box truck well off the road on the eastbound side. The driver of the truck was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. The adult male may have experienced a medical emergency before the crash.

Heavy equipment was required to recover the truck, which came to a stop down an embankment.” -Lakeville Fire Department.
