Hourly Position
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Position Location: New Bedford, MA and surrounding communities
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 4 Years’ Experience Minimum
- MA hoisting license
- OSHA Card
- Familiar loading trucks with material, rocks, stumps, etc.
- Operates heavy construction equipment, such as backhoe, excavator, front-end loader, skid steer, dozer and snowplow (plus),
- Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to the supervisor; cleans equipment.
- Laboring skills a plus
- Knowledge of reading construction drawings
- Experience shooting grades and utilizing a laser level
- Must be able to pass DOT drug test, background check and DOT physical
- Must be 21 years of age or older per Insurance Carrier requirements
- Must have clean MVR record, no DUI’s
- Knows and obeys all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Rules and Regulations
- Completes required company paperwork as needed
