Four people overdose on heroin in New Bedford in 24 hour period

New Bedford police report four New Bedford residents overdosed in a 24-hour period on December 26 and 27 to induce a 66-year old man who needed three doses of Narcan to be revived. All four survived. 

  • 66-year old man at on Pleasant Street on 26 Dec at 5:15am needed to be revived with 3 doses Narcan 
  • 47-year old female on State Street on 26 Dec at 6:01pm
  • 32-year old male on Charles Street on 26 Dec -at 3:02pm
  • 25-year old male at the New Bedford Inn and Suites on 500 Hathaway Road  on 27 Dec at 5:13am
