Town of Fairhaven initiating placement of unsheltered migrants

“FROM THE TOWN ADMINISTRATOR’S OFFICE:

The Town of Fairhaven was notified that the State was initiating the placement of unsheltered families at the Seaport Resort & Marina.

We will do what is needed to assist the State and Governor Healey to manage this situation. The Select Board and Town Administrator are working with staff and local agencies to manage the impact to our community.

We will provide more information as it is available. Right now, all we know is that the State will be utilizing 15 rooms at the Seaport Resort & Marina.”-Town of Fairhaven.
