Beloved downtown New Bedford restaurant abruptly closing its doors.

“Union Flats Seafood Co” has abruptly announced on social media that they will be closing the restaurant. Located at 39 Union Street in downtown New Bedford, they offered unique local seafood dishes and craft cocktails.

They posted on social media Friday morning,

“Thank you for all the love and support. This community we’ve built means the world to us. Unfortunately it’s time to move on. Last dinner service tonight, limited menu. Come toast with us.”
