On Saturday morning at approximately 6am South end officers were sent to the area of Mandell St. and Briar St. regarding suspicious behavior. An alert neighbor observed 4 males pushing 2 ATV’s down the street. Officers Algimantas Harrell and Jason Orlando were able to locate the males a few blocks away with the ATV’s.
It was subsequently learned that the ATVs’ were stolen from a garage that was attached to a home. Scheduled to be arraigned in New Bedford District Court:
- Ceasar Soares age 19 of Bullard St. New Bedford
- Lawrence Ford age 21 of Stafford St. Fall River
- Jareyn Carroll age 22 of Sycamore St. New Bedford
- Nicholas Miller age 19 of Allen St. New Bedford
All face charges of Breaking and Entering in the nighttime and Larceny in a building.
