Four arrested with stolen all terrain vehicles in New Bedford

On Saturday morning at approximately 6am South end officers were sent to the area of Mandell St. and Briar St. regarding suspicious behavior. An alert neighbor observed 4 males pushing 2 ATV’s down the street. Officers Algimantas Harrell and Jason Orlando were able to locate the males a few blocks away with the ATV’s.

It was subsequently learned that the ATVs’ were stolen from a garage that was attached to a home. Scheduled to be arraigned in New Bedford District Court:

  • Ceasar Soares age 19 of Bullard St. New Bedford
  • Lawrence Ford age 21 of Stafford St. Fall River
  • Jareyn Carroll age 22 of Sycamore St. New Bedford
  • Nicholas Miller age 19 of Allen St. New Bedford

All face charges of Breaking and Entering in the nighttime and Larceny in a building.
