Per Mayor Jon Mitchell, all public schools in New Bedford will be closed on Monday, October 29th due to Hurricane Sandy. No decision has been made yet on whether school will be in session on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.  Additionally, Umass Dartmouth has cancelled their classes for Monday.
