Spreading Joy and Building Community Through Christmas Caroling

On December 19, 2014 at 6:00PM, MIMO organizes Christmas caroling down Hawthorn St. The group will meet at the southeast corner (Rockdale Ave. and nHawthorn St.) of Buttonwood Park. Lyrics, candles, and cookies will be provided. All are welcome.

MIMO organizer, Cynthia Roy (30 of New Bedford) is ecstatic about the event. “I can’t wait to see everyone’s face as we dance and sing down Hawthorn Street for the second year!” Last year’s caroling event was a huge success. “We were greeted with so much love and joy. One lady told us we made her week, as she had been feeling under the weather.” Like last year, carolers, dressed in festive attire and holding candles, will make their way down Hawthorn Street, stopping at a few homes to drop off cookies and a holiday card, all while singing classic Christmas songs!

MIMO (Mindful Moms) is a local group of like-minded moms. Attachment parenting and natural parenting are core components of the MIMO philosophy. The moms of MIMO feel strongly about parenting mindfully, taking responsibility for the health of our planet, and building a vibrant, loving community. MIMO organizes play groups, volunteer work, and family
oriented community events.
