How did New Bedford vote on Super Tuesday?

New Bedford has 55,550 registered voters and 16,193, or 29%, turned out to vote on March 1, 2016, for Super Tuesday Primary in Massachusetts. Here is how New Bedford voted:

Democrat Primary: 12,468 (77%)

  • Hillary Clinton: 6,680 (53%)
  • Bernie Sanders: 5,462 (44%)
  • No Preference: 124 (1%)
  • Martin O’Malley: 58 (0.47%)
  • Roque “Rockey” De La Fuente: 14 (0.11%)

Republican Primary: 3,634 (22.44%)

  • Donald Trump: 2,104 (58%)
  • Marco Rubio:  509 (14%)
  • Ted Cruz: 403 (11%)
  • John Kasich: 327 (9%)
  • Ben Carson: 144 (4%)

All other candidates got less than 1%.
