Massachusetts State Police K-9 Team Locates Missing Child With Autism

Shortly after 10 p.m. on the night of Monday, Feb. 29, State Police were notified of a 14-year-old boy on the Autism Spectrum who had gone missing in the town of North Brookfield. Troop C patrols, MSP K-9 units, and the MSP Air Wing responded to search for the boy.

Among those searching were Trooper Scott Davis and his K-9 partner Cairo, who initiated a scout of a general area.

At approximately 10:55 p.m. Trooper Davis and Cairo located the boy sleeping on a park bench between two fenced basketball courts not far from where he was last seen. The child was unharmed and was returned to his home.
