From the Fall River Police department:
On 4-20-17 at approximately 8:30pm, a 72-year old male exited the Stop & Save Store located at 101 President Ave. carrying a scratch ticket he just purchased in the store. While walking to his car with the ticket he was approached by a female in the parking lot. The female asked him for money and he told her that he didn’t have any more money. At that time the female grabbed the lottery ticket from his hand and knocked him to the ground causing him to hit his head on the pavement.
He described the female as white, in her twenties, 5-1 to 5-3 tall, dark hair, small build, wearing a dark zip up hooded sweatshirt and jeans. If anyone knows the identity of the female please contact the Fall River Police Major Crimes Office or Det. John McDonald at 508-324-2796.
Hi, thank you for your services.
I would like to post a complaint about the terrible streets we have in New Bedford. The streets are awful, most of these pot holes are over 9yrs old!!! We pay all theses out rages fees and taxes to the DMV and city hall. Average cost to each citizen is $60 per car for excise tax per year and the fee each yr is the same, even after owning the vehicle for five years. The fee is based on value but value NEVER changes??
And the directions to file for abatement says the cancel plates if sold.. i filed for an abatement they denied it because i cancelled my plate??

Ps. I heard nb got fundinv to fix streets, but they are only choosing to fix Union st, where it needs no work done!!
