Wareham Fire Department battle car fire on Rt. 25 after serious 2-car accident with rollover

“On Tuesday, March 21st around 7:45 P.M., the Wareham Fire Department responded out to Route 25 for a report of a motor vehicle accident. There were also reports that a vehicle was actively on fire.

Shift 1 responded in Engine 1 with Captain Brandolini, Firefighter A.Rowley, Firefighter E.Brundage and Firefighter Robidoux. E5 responded with call back personnel as well as C1 who had Command of the scene.

Upon arrival, it was determined to be a two-car motor vehicle accident originally and one of the vehicles involved subsequently rolled over into the median and caught fire.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly upon arrival. Both operators involved were evaluated on scene and one was transported by Wareham EMS Local 2895.”-Wareham Fire Department.
