It turns out no one called the police and Water Wizz hasn’t heard anything about the incident. Turtle Boy Sports covered the story very well here.
Fake hero stories like this can be extremely dangerous to a business like Water Wizz. Do you think any parent that heard about this fake abduction story was going to take their children Water Wizz over the weekend? It doesn’t get much lower than Stolen Valor or fake hero stories, especially ones that damage the reputation of a business.
My suggestion is to support Water Wizz every chance you get this summer. Small businesses like that do not deserve to be punished by idiots looking for fame and recognition with fake stories.
