Two arrested after making purchases with stolen credit cards, pawning stolen jewelry

On Friday, June 14th, New Bedford Police Detectives arrested a male and female after investigating a breaking and entering into a home in the west end of New Bedford.

The two allegedly stole credit cards and almost five thousand dollars in jewelry. Arrested, as a result of the investigation were 28-year old Michael Roach and 30-year old Alexis Wybraniec, both of New Bedford

Both were charged with multiple counts of receiving stolen property, larceny, and credit card offenses after the stolen credit cards were used to make purchases and the jewelry pawned at different locations. Detectives were able to recover most of the stolen jewelry during the investigation.

The lead investigators were Detectives Brian Rei and Thomas Jupin.
