“So, at around 8:30pm. Friday 4/3, this ‘upstanding citizen’ entered The Star Drive-In in East Taunton, purchased 2 beverages and ice cream and felt he needed the Brown Bag Donation Jar and all its contents (more than the 20-30 kids and elderly that we have been providing lunches for daily, since March 16th).
It goes without saying that I and my team are absolutely disgusted. I will be pulling some more video of the parking lot and we will be determining if he paid by cash or credit card.
The saddest part is, his stupid hat probably cost more than what he stole!
Any information would be greatly appreciated because I’m sick of FOUL human beings! Please share! End rant for now. Thank you.
UPDATE: We may be looking for an older guy from Middleboro that goes by the name ‘Buddy.’ He drives an older grey pickup truck with a lighter colored cab. His truck usually has towels hanging from the closed windows. He is possibly homeless but has been seen in the same white cowboy hat.
If he is homeless, all he had to do was ask. We would have given him anything he needed. So, if anyone knows him- please PM me, if it is him- I’ll figure out the next best steps.
