Small Earthquake with East Freetown epicenter rattles Greater New Bedford

No Damage or Injuries Have Been Reported

Weston Observatory has reported that an earthquake of 1.9 magnitude occurred at 10:52am this morning, seven (7) miles north/northwest of New Bedford, MA. No damage or injuries have been reported. Affected people would have felt shaking and rumbling, possible a loud boom.
