New Bedford police responded to several shots recorded on a shot spotter near Durfee and Linden street in New Bedford at 11pm on Tuesday night. When first responders arrived on the scene they located an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds and transported the victim to Saint Lukes Hospital.
After speaking with officials on Wednesday morning, it is believed that the victim is expected to recover from his injuries.
