Schwartz Center and Southcoast Hospital Groups collaborate to help local children

Schwartz Center for Children and Southcoast Rehabilitation Services Enter Into a Collaboration to Provide Pediatric Rehabilitation Services

The Schwartz Center for Children announced today that it is entering into a collaboration with Southcoast Hospitals Group to strengthen local access to rehabilitation services for children with special needs. The Schwartz Center staff will continue to provide the highly specialized rehabilitation services in a newly renovated suite within its current location at 1 Posa Place in Dartmouth, under the direction of Southcoast Rehabilitation Services.

“We honor our legacy as we seek to strengthen the foundation on which the Schwartz Center was founded – collaboration, selflessness, and deep concern for the care and well-being of our most vulnerable children. The collaboration with Southcoast is the beginning of our overall initiative to seek out like-minded partners, with the goal of increasing access to our highly specialized services and to meet the ever-changing needs of our children,” said Schwartz Center CEO, Mary Hodgson.

Jennifer Randall, Director of Southcoast Rehabilitation Services agrees that the community will benefit from this new collaboration, “Southcoast Rehabilitation Services is proud to partner with the Schwartz Center for Children. Their long history of service within the community is well known and respected. It is an honor to be part of their future efforts.”
