Make a difference in your community!

Become a Volunteer Tutor! No matter your profession, you can make a difference in the life of a student who has been impacted by homelessness in New Bedford, Brockton, Stoughton, or Norwell.

During our mandatory two-part training session, we will prepare you for an amazing one-on-one tutoring experience with a student in grade K-12. You will meet with the same student each week to help reinforce grade level learning skills, work on school projects, and help boost his or her self-esteem. You will serve as a mentor and positive adult role model for the student, and help them realize their full potential!

For more information, visit their website or contact Robin Gilbert, Operations Director at (508) 587-9091 or robin@sowma.org.
